Lindsey has been our master creator behind the expansive Whimsy Gallery for 12 years! She has been with Whimsy since the beginning and with her artistic vision and love for teaching we have GROWN.
Hello!
I love painting and coffee way to much! I received my BFA in Children’s Book Illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design! I have also been a professional tattoo artist for the past 3 years. Check out my illustration and tattoo work HERE.
I have been with Whimsy since 2012 and have over 12 years of teaching experience. I paint, draw, or tattoo every single day and could not be more thrilled to do what I love.
When I am not at Whimsy you can find me in my home studio illustrating in traditional and digital medias. I often paint cute animal characters but also dabble in a large variety of subjects and styles! I am heavily inspired by children’s book genres and fantastical stories. I am a Colorado Native and enjoy exploring the Rocky Mountains with my amazing husband Nick, our two kids and three dogs. We hike, camp or go off-roading almost every weekend!
I love my team of artists who have banded together to bring creativity to the hearts and souls of all who walk through our studio doors. We are Team Whimsy, we are covered in paint and we love it!
Meet our manager by day and artist by night! She loves helping organize and book your events, taking your painting requests, and answering any and all of your questions and concerns!
I’m the resident weirdo, and I’m here to help! I’ve been with the studio since 2015 and absolutely love what I do! Being able to have a job helping people and actively creating art is the dream; and I’m living the dream!
I am an alumni of Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, and have my BFA in Illustration. When I’m not at Whimsy… oh who are we kidding, I live here! 😛
My art outside of Whimsy focuses mainly on female portraiture, and my favorite things to paint are eyes and lips! Cause I find those to be the most expressive features.
As the daytime manager, I am mostly in the studio during the day on weekdays; so if you need help with anything, want to sign up for a class, or have any questions, feel free to call me and we can chat! Because frankly, I love to talk. Probably too much.
I received my BFA in Illustration, check out my illustration work HERE.
Hello!!
I am Maddi, I am a Colorado native and absolutely love art! I have always known that I was meant to take a creative road in life. I graduated in May 2022 from University of Northern Colorado and earned my BA in graphic design. I also took various art classes in my time at college and learned a lot through art history, drawing, painting etc. My art usually leans more towards fantastical or surreal scenes. However, I love to experiment and paint different subjects. In my free time I like to hang out with family and my French bulldog. I also love to take care of plants and of course create a ton of art.

Hey there!
I’m Amelia and I absolutely love all forms of art (and caffeine)!
I’m a 2021 graduate of the University of Northern Iowa where I studied Graphic Design, Art History, and drawing/painting. I got my BA in Graphic Design and Art History, and my portfolio of some of my digital work can be found here: https://ameliaduax.myportfolio.com/
I moved to Arvada, Colorado fresh out of college, where I quickly found Whimsy. I am learning so much about my new home and love to meet new people and places! I am extremely passionate about trying new things and challenging myself, and art is my most favorite way to experiment.
Outside of the studio, I love to be in nature, at a brewery, or exploring small town galleries.
I am so lucky to have found my team at Whimsy, where we all paint, create, and encourage people to support the arts!
I have been teaching with Whimsy for 4 years now.
My education is in Education and I have spent years working in schools, ECE programs, and City Children’s Programs, always around teaching children.
I am a self taught artist and creator. I live to create. Whether it is painting, crafting jewelry, resin art, making costumes, quilling, metal stamping or doll house building, I love it all!
My other passion is children’s story telling. I have been many characters for children’s events, bringing positivity and caring for others into fun learning!
My jewelry can be found at Whimsy and online. https://www.twilighttinker.com/
My story teller website can be found here:

I’m from New York but have lived in Colorado since I was only 6 months old, so I’m basically an adoptive native! I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember.
I received my BFA in 2D animation at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in 2021 and am currently pursuing my second BFA in Illustration: Concept Art.
My art style ranges a lot, it really depends on what I’m creating. My favorite things to create are female characters, landscapes, and the occasional dumb meme.
Outside of the studio, I’m typically at home playing video games, watching anime, or random YouTube videos. When I’m not at home, I’m out driving around in the mountains, exploring with my fiancé and our three dogs. And if I’m not feeling going too far from home, I’m roaming around Downtown Denver wishing I could afford a city penthouse.
Hey! My name is Alayna and I am an artist and have been with Whimsy for over four years! I love creating illustrations and painting digitally on procreate! I also create many of the Whimsy originals and love helping Whimsy grow every day!
In my down time I am usually lost in the mountains on an adventure. I love nature, art, and animals. Follow me on Instagram @alayna_petty to see my latest adventures and creations!
My name is Anna and I’ve been an artist at Whimsy since June of 2021! I am currently a student at The University of California Santa Barbara, so when I’m not out on the West Coast, I’m here!
I’ve loved art pretty much all of my life, and especially enjoy cartooning with pens and markers, painting, and I’m slowly getting into digital work as well. You can look at my works on my Instagram, my commissions are always open!
My name is Winston, and I am the main reason everyone comes to Whimsy! (I think so at least.) I am friendly to all ages and groups, feel free to give me a pet (or twenty) the next time you see me!
Hello! I am new to the Whimsy team and I can’t wait to make myself a bigger part of this community! I am a Nevada native that moved to Colorado back in 2021. I am a full-time wife and mom, and a part-time freelance artist. I have a particular interest in pet portrait work as well as making beautiful and expressive wildlife art.
