Hello!
I love painting and coffee way to much! I received my BFA in Children’s Book Illustration from Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design! I have also been a professional tattoo artist for the past 3 years. Check out my illustration and tattoo work HERE.
I have been with Whimsy since 2012 and have over 12 years of teaching experience. I paint, draw, or tattoo every single day and could not be more thrilled to do what I love.
When I am not at Whimsy you can find me in my home studio illustrating in traditional and digital medias. I often paint cute animal characters but also dabble in a large variety of subjects and styles! I am heavily inspired by children’s book genres and fantastical stories. I am a Colorado Native and enjoy exploring the Rocky Mountains with my amazing husband Nick, our two kids and three dogs. We hike, camp or go off-roading almost every weekend!
I love my team of artists who have banded together to bring creativity to the hearts and souls of all who walk through our studio doors. We are Team Whimsy, we are covered in paint and we love it!

I’m the resident weirdo, and I’m here to help! I’ve been with the studio since 2015 and absolutely love what I do! Being able to have a job helping people and actively creating art is the dream; and I’m living the dream!
I am an alumni of Rocky Mountain College of Art & Design, and have my BFA in Illustration. When I’m not at Whimsy… oh who are we kidding, I live here! 
My art outside of Whimsy focuses mainly on female portraiture, and my favorite things to paint are eyes and lips! Cause I find those to be the most expressive features.
As the daytime manager, I am mostly in the studio during the day on weekdays; so if you need help with anything, want to sign up for a class, or have any questions, feel free to call me and we can chat! Because frankly, I love to talk. Probably too much.

I am Maddi, I am a Colorado native and absolutely love art! I have always known that I was meant to take a creative road in life. I graduated in May 2022 from University of Northern Colorado and earned my BA in graphic design. I also took various art classes in my time at college and learned a lot through art history, drawing, painting etc. My art usually leans more towards fantastical or surreal scenes. However, I love to experiment and paint different subjects. In my free time I like to hang out with family and my French bulldog. I also love to take care of plants and of course create a ton of art.

I moved to Arvada, Colorado fresh out of college, where I quickly found Whimsy. I am learning so much about my new home and love to meet new people and places! I am extremely passionate about trying new things and challenging myself, and art is my most favorite way to experiment.
Outside of the studio, I love to be in nature, at a brewery, or exploring small town galleries.

I have been teaching with Whimsy for 4 years now.
My education is in Education and I have spent years working in schools, ECE programs, and City Children’s Programs, always around teaching children.
I am a self taught artist and creator. I live to create. Whether it is painting, crafting jewelry, resin art, making costumes, quilling, metal stamping or doll house building, I love it all!
My other passion is children’s story telling. I have been many characters for children’s events, bringing positivity and caring for others into fun learning!

I’m from New York but have lived in Colorado since I was only 6 months old, so I’m basically an adoptive native! I’ve been creating art for as long as I can remember.
I received my BFA in 2D animation at Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design in 2021 and am currently pursuing my second BFA in Illustration: Concept Art. You can find my portfolio here: www.fantasistudios.com
My art style ranges a lot, it really depends on what I’m creating. My favorite things to create are female characters, landscapes, and the occasional dumb meme.
Outside of the studio, I’m typically at home playing video games, watching anime, or random YouTube videos. When I’m not at home, I’m out driving around in the mountains, exploring with my fiancé and our three dogs. And if I’m not feeling going too far from home, I’m roaming around Downtown Denver wishing I could afford a city penthouse.

My name is Anna and I’ve been an artist at Whimsy since June of 2021! I am currently a student at The University of California Santa Barbara, so when I’m not out on the West Coast, I’m here!
I’ve loved art pretty much all of my life, and especially enjoy cartooning with pens and markers, painting, and I’m slowly getting into digital work as well. You can look at my works on my Instagram, my commissions are always open!
I started with Whimsy in 2023. I love teaching and making things more accessible for all. Everyone deserves to think of themselves as creative and able to express themselves through art.
I am a Swiss army knife of design! I am a user experience designer, where I make all sorts of apps and websites less frustrating. I also create fun and nerdy designs for shirts, stickers, mugs, and more. Need something organized? I’ll make it easy to use and beautiful, too.
My art skills come from creating (sketching, painting, photography, graphic design, ceramics) regularly for decades. I’ve had a few great teachers who gave me paradigm-shifting advice, and a whole lot of practice.

My name is Aaron and I have special needs, but that does not stop me from doing and enjoying art and painting. I am a guest artist at Whimsy and I help teach and assist with special needs groups here. I also sell my art at Whimsy!
